How I Created Stunning Portraits Using Photoshop

Beena Deming

I experimented with different lighting set-ups and for these photos I used 2 lights and Fog Machine. It made dimensional and cinematic looks.

Gear I use and camera settings to achieved this look.

Gear
Camera : Sony A7IV
Lens : Tamron 75-180 @145mm
Flash : Key Light Godox 400Pro , 1/16 power
Flash : Rim Light Godox 200Pro, 1/64 power
Softbox : EZ Lock 34" Beaty Disk White (Key Light)
Sliver Reflector
Fog Machine : 500W Smoke Machine

Camera Settings
ISO : 100
Aperture : F/4.5
Shutter : 1/250s
White Balance : 5000

I put the Key light over the subject and feathered away to achieve softer skin. The rim light was an option I used because I wanted to get more dimension. Using a silver reflector gets more punch on the subject and using the fog machine gives a more dreamy and foggy backdrop.
