Doing self-portraits wasn't as easy as I thought but I keep learning and practicing. Those are the keys to understanding light in different ways.

I called this as a fine art portrait photography. Posing is the most important for taking fine art portraits

Best Poses for Fine Art Portraits.
Posing is a strong element in fine art portrait photography. As a photographer, you need to direct models and you will get great photographs.

Basic posing techniques for great fine art portraits :

  • Creating separation between the arms and the body

  • Tucking the arms in, moving them back far enough to hide the upper arm

  • Forcing the chin away from the neck

  • Arching the back

  • Dropping the shoulders

  • Tilting the head back

  • Twisting the body

  • Make natural motions

  • Creating shape
